Teaching Partnership Award - Application Form 2019

This form should be used for applications from an individual only. A separate form is available for an application from a group.

Applicants must be a currently registered undergraduate or postgraduate student of the University of Leicester at the time of the deadline for applications.  Your case for an award (Section B) should not exceed 1,000 words in total.

Your answer should be no more than 2000 characters long.

Your Case

You have up to 1,000 words in total to make your case for outstanding achievement beyond what is expected of you within your programme of study. This should be written in response to the two criteria and expand upon the statement you have made in your summary section.

Your answer should be no more than 6000 characters long.

Your answer should be no more than 2000 characters long.

You will need to provide one reference from a member of staff who is willing to support your claim for the award. This referee should be an academic member of staff in the case where you refer mainly to teaching activities. In other instances you can invite other staff, including officers or executive officers of the Students’ Union.

NOTE: Make sure that you request the reference from the member of staff before naming them on your application form.

Please note that no additional appendices or attachments may be included, and the Panel’s assessment will be made on the basis of this application form and an emailed statement of support from a referee.  This in order to ensure that all applications can be judged on the same basis.
